Ever finished a busy week and struggled to explain what you accomplished? Start a work wins note.👇
Five minutes every Friday can give you useful material for your résumé, interviews, and performance reviews.
Here’s what to capture:
🔎 The problem: What was slow, confusing, or taking too much effort?
🛠️ Your contribution: What did you build, improve, organize, or solve?
📈 The result: What changed? Include numbers when you have them, or describe the difference you observed.
💡 The skill: Did you use data analysis, communication, project management, or something new?
For example: “Made a spreadsheet” becomes “Built a tracker that helped the team spot overdue tasks and clarify ownership.”
Your next résumé update is easier when you’re working from notes instead of memory.
What’s one thing you accomplished this week that deserves a spot on your list? Small wins count.
