City Bloc is a modular system designed primarily for urban traffic. It consists of different elements, that together create a safe and functional environment for urban infrastructure.

Materials and construction:

• Concrete parts: Parts with an inverted Y profile. Longitudinal and transverse channels on the underside are used for drainage and possible routing of cables. The transverse channel can also be used for the installation of a barrier using a forklift.

• Fasteners: Fastening elements made of galvanized sheet are used to connect individual parts.

• Steel railing: Galvanized steel railing, which can be screwed to the concrete parts.

• Concrete flower pots: These elements can be combined with other parts of the system to create aesthetic and functional barriers.

• Concrete cones: They are used to close parking lot passages.

Implementation and assembly:

When deploying CITY BLOC concrete elements, it is necessary to comply with all relevant regulations regarding the construction of roads and traffic on them. End pieces must be placed at the beginning and at the end of each guardrail from the CITY BLOC pieces.

In most cases, the underlying surface is the road surface, sidewalk or paved area of ​​parking lots. It can also have an unreinforced or mechanically stabilized upper bearing layer. Individual parts are usually installed from the truck directly to the destination using a crane arm or forklift. Anchor eyes with Rd16 threads are screwed into the anchors built into each part, which allows easy manipulation of the element.

After being placed at the destination, the individual elements are connected using connectors and Rd16 screws, which are included in the delivery. The installation of the railing is carried out by connecting the individual parts of CITY BLOC.

Use of the CITY BLOC system:

• Protection of pedestrian crossings: Ensuring safety at crossings.

• Department of Roadways: Use in detours, the road work and other temporary changes.

• Protection of persons: Security of particularly vulnerable places, such as bus and tram stops or entrances to public buildings.

• Department of Trails: Separation of paths for pedestrians and cyclists from roadways.

• Parking restrictions: Restriction of parking vehicles before pedestrian crossings and parking zones defining.

• Roundabouts: Use in the construction and securing of roundabouts.

Our CITY BLOC products are certified according to current European standards and meet all necessary quality and safety requirements.

"Declaration of conformity" according to Act no. 22/1997 Sb., and on the amendment and addition of certain laws, as amended and in accordance with the provisions of § 8 government regulation no. 163/2002 Sb., as amended by Government Regulation no. 312/2005 Sb., which set the technical requirements for selected construction products.
